because daylight savings is here, we’re spending more time outside in our backyards, around the barbecue or just enjoying dusk. well, here’s a really cute, easy diy project for you to enjoy while you’re outside once it is dark.

I can’t claim this as my own, a friend’s mum has been making these for a while and I just think they’re the coolest.

I love christmas lights, but I love them all year round and if you do too, you’re bound to love this. It’s so simple but looks so great.

What it is, is 2 x wire, hanging pot plant holders, (I’m sure they’re really cheap to buy at Kmart) and what she’s done is wrapped some fairy lights around it so it’s like a fairylight ball. 

I think it’s so cute and a couple of these hanging outside look really great. It’s a nice way to be festive all year round.
