it’s my birthday and i’ll feel ike a princes if i want to
three things
played with my new handmixer and silicone cupcake cases and made cranberry and orange cupcakes out of my new cupcake recipe book
did one of the work out on my new davina DVD- very hard work
our carbon monoxide detetor just went off so the boiler has been turned off. means no heating on my birthday probably… good job i am out most of the day…
so we bought a metal detector…
and phil found the ring :)
yay
phil lost his wedding ring in the snow yesterday :( he was playing with a young person in the vicar’s garden when it came off. he found it and it an attempt to be clever put it in his pocket so as not to loose it again… but he didnt zip it up and it came out. we have looked for numerous hours now and cannot find it :(
he has made a lovely sledge though… photos to follow.. but...
try and initiate a romantic evening and all my husband wants ti do is build a sledge.
i knew there would be nights like this
the guy from RATM was just quoted as saying something along the lines of ’ when young people come together they can achieve things which others thought impossible’
now we just need to get more young people passionate about things which actually matter and then who knows what will happen in the next decade!

yesterday we drove out to a pub in a tiny village in the country for our church christmas meal. the fields looked beautiful in the snow, and then the snow came down whilst we werre eating which we watched through a big window.
then phil and i started watching love actually before bed.
then today it has continued to snow. ive wrapped up the xbox and xbox goodies to go under the...
smelly boys
just picked up my bro and his friend from uni. they are staying overnight before we take them to brum.
they smell. of smelly boys. but claim they had a shower today and their clothes are clean*
*i have since learnt clean means only worn for three days and for half an hour at a club…
*tobler is really called phil Tobler but i thought referring to him as phil would be a little confusing…
an unexpected blessing
on friday our friend tobler rang to ask if someone could stay over at our house. he is part of eden and lives in the ‘boys house’ so cant have female friends stay over. we said of course. thinking it would mean her coming round about 11ish, brief chat, and then waving her goodbye in the morning. little did we know :)
Victoria (or Victory) Ann turned up with tobler at midnight and...
last 24hours
have been so blessed, full of joy and it was all unexpected.

phil has a very big and important exam tomorrow but he isn’t well at all and hasn’t been able to concentrate all day to revise for it. he must feel ill as he went to bed for an hour when i told him it might help.
really praying he does ok tomorrow. i know he can

phil’s exams finish on thursday. cant wait. cant believe its almost xmas. feeling very tired still (phil and i had a supposed half hour nap after his exam and slept for 2 and a half ours…) and in need to have hang out time with some friends. and for phil’s medical notes to not be all over the floor

i have spent today typing up medical notes for phil. did some last few days too. feel like its my exam! no idea how people are meant to remember that much stuff! free from it thursday adn then we can decorate the tree which is cirrently hiding in the conservatory :)
so since the weding i’ve put on over half a stone. not happy about it. especialy as i’ve been aware i’ve been putting on weight and trying to do something about it for several weeks now. need to have more will power…
i was helping phil with his revision by typing up a load of notes. happened to be on women and birth (obs and gyne) - i’m amazed women ever give birth and people are ever born. its truely amazing
christmas tree
went to buy our christmas tree just now and there were none of the ones i wanted left! in fact no lnormal sized green ones i could afford at all! was so gutted. then asked a nice man in B & Q if i could have the display one. he said i could. YAY!
i just had an awesome hour with God showing me round my new community :)
we finally told the girls at cell group that the team leader and two of the female team members are leaving eden. glad its out but still a sad fact

I have a lot of sorting/organising to do in anticipation of a new housemate/moving out of this place. There’s over 4 years of hoarding stored in this place…not ok…also got Christmas to sort…haha, how very me to pick the busy period of the year to do all this.
